- I could focus on the fact that a majority of my pre-pregnancy clothes donβt fit.
- I could focus on the scale thatβs hasnβt really budged in months.
- I could focus on how my hips are wider, my stomach loser, my entire body composition changed… Truth be told, thereβs A L O T I could focus on
But why would I focus on the βold meβ when Iβm π£π€π© my old self?
After admittedly struggling over my body image postpartum, Iβve come to the realization that the more I focus on βπ΅π©π¦ πΈπ’πΊ π΅π©πͺπ―π¨π΄ πΆπ΄π¦π₯ π΅π° π£π¦β, the more I lose sight of whatβs happening π‘π’πͺ.
Sure a lot of my old clothes still donβt fit (& they might not ever π€·πΌββοΈ), but instead of feeling insecure trying to fit into them, Iβm slowly replacing them with new ones. This has been the simplest concept, but yβall this has helped me so much.
Finding what is flattering for my new mom bod has been interesting; However, since Iβve updated my wardrobe, I am truly embracing this new chapter in my life, my body, and loving all the βmommy fashionβ that comes with it!
