  • I could focus on the fact that a majority of my pre-pregnancy clothes don’t fit.
  • I could focus on the scale that’s hasn’t really budged in months.
  • I could focus on how my hips are wider, my stomach loser, my entire body composition changed… Truth be told, there’s A L O T I could focus on

But why would I focus on the β€œold me” when I’m 𝙣𝙀𝙩 my old self?

After admittedly struggling over my body image postpartum, I’ve come to the realization that the more I focus on β€œπ˜΅π˜©π˜¦ 𝘸𝘒𝘺 𝘡𝘩π˜ͺ𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘢𝘴𝘦π˜₯ 𝘡𝘰 π˜£π˜¦β€, the more I lose sight of what’s happening 𝗑𝗒π—ͺ.

Sure a lot of my old clothes still don’t fit (& they might not ever πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ), but instead of feeling insecure trying to fit into them, I’m slowly replacing them with new ones. This has been the simplest concept, but y’all this has helped me so much.

Finding what is flattering for my new mom bod has been interesting; However, since I’ve updated my wardrobe, I am truly embracing this new chapter in my life, my body, and loving all the β€œmommy fashion” that comes with it!
